Before King Joffrey takes Lord Eddard's head, we stick a fork in it.

This week we look in depth at the reality of what he promised his sister Lyanna as she lay dying. We look at what Ned Stark most likely thought about Rhaegar Targaryan. Is Ned the kind of guy that is able to separate a dude's father killing his own father and brother from the dude himself? And if he is, can he then separate the dude he doesn't really know from the act the dude commits?

If anybody can make any sense of any of this in their own head, it'd be Lord Eddard. Of course, knowing Ned Stark as intimately as we do, it is most likely that he'd be trying to sort all of this information out in his head while his enemies are plotting against him.

Thanks for joining us on our journey through the Ned Stark Universe. We hope you enjoyed what we had to say as much as we enjoyed saying it.

This episode's artwork is aptly titled 'Rhaegar and Lyanna' I'm sure many of you have seen it before if you've ever searched for either one of these characters. The artist is Mathia Arkonel and you can find more of his fantastic works, or even commission him for your own at: http://mathiaarkoniel.deviantart.com/ http://mathiaarkoniel.com
