SPOILERS for all published books in George R. R. Martin's "A Song of Ice and Fire" as well as all televised episodes of HBO's "Game of Thrones"...
Finally, #TPTWP hath returned to their mega-long series about The War of the Five Kings #TWo5K.
This is Part 2 of our study in all things Joffrey Baratheon and his circle of trusted advisers and greater circle of advisers and extended family members on the battlefields fighting a war so that he can have a long and successful reign as the King of the Andals, the Rhoynar and the First Men.
We pick up with Joffrey on the Kingsroad heading to Kings Landing from Winterfell, where his fat, drunken faux-father King Robert has just asked his best friend and good buddy, Ned Stark, to come South and serve as Hand to the King... Oh! And he also went and committed Joffrey to marrying Ned's daughter, Sansa.
While most of us wouldn't have a problem marrying Sansa Stark - though this list would not include our own John Kanteen- Joffrey's feelings on the marriage pact are neither considered nor easy to read.
We get a look at the overture to #TWo5K from the Kings Landing perspective and get a good look at the bi-polar personality of the heir to Westeros and future King, Joffrey I Baratheon.
Other topics of conversation include the new Hand Ned Start, Lord Commander of Robert Baratheon's Kingsguard Ser Barristan Selmy, Lord Commander of Joffrey Baratheon's Kingsguard Ser Jaime Lannister, Queen Cersei Lannister-Baratheon, as well as Tyrion Lannister and Sansa Stark- the future Queen of Westeros via Joffrey.
Thanks for listening and giving us a try, first time listeners! And thanks for coming back to continue your education in the History of Westeros and A Song of Ice and Fire, to returning listeners! Watch the feed for Part 3 to The Boy King next week.

Special thanks, though we are using it unknown to him and likely against the law... as in illegally, to Magali Villeneuve- the magnificent artist responsible for our thumbnail icon this episode. This is an illustration of the steps of the Great Sept of Baelor depicting the tragic end of Lord Eddard Stark of Winterfell at the command of King Joffrey I Baratheon. This illustration, along with many more of equal beauty, will be found in the forthcoming 20th Anniversary release of George R. R. Martin's "A Game of Thrones" later this month.
