News, Announcements and a Sansa Stark Theory (Sp1.9)

Sansa Stark and The Tourney at Ashford Meadows Theory

Episode Notes

The Princes That Were Promised end their hiatus with a bloody vengeance. We haven't recorded in weeks and are be-heading anyone that gets in the way of our RSS Feed.

This week, we dive deep into the Sunset Sea of news and see what interesting facts we can pull to the surface. The HBO Ice Block Stunt The shooting script for Mother's Mercy The casting of some blonde dude for season 7

We also have some announcements of our own as they pertain to our coverage of Season 7 of HBO's Game of Thrones The next three months of podcasting is dedicated to those that enjoy the adaptation that became the definitive telling of A Song of Ice and Fire.

We spend a little time bashing GRRM because he always deserves it.

We analyze the Sansa Stark/Tourney at Ashford Meadow Theory which states, basically, that the five remaining champions of The Tourney at Ashford from A Knight of The Seven Kingdoms belong to the same Houses of Westeros as the five suitors/possible husbands and husbands of Sansa Stark from ASoIaF and how this possibly relates to the final two books.

And finally, we wrap up comparing Jon Snow's narrative to that of Daenerys Targaryen and compare which is a typical zero to hero tale and which is a GRRM "Trying Really Hard to Keep The Reader Guessing" tale.

Thank you one and all for sticking with us through our hiatus. This episode is a special super-sized episode to thank you.

Please take the minute and thirty seconds it takes to leave us a review... to leave us a review on iTunes. It will really help #TPTWP take the show to the next level just in time for Season 7.

Thanks for listening and stay tuned for next week's show...
