Born amidst salt and smoke... Just off the Long Island Expressway... And beneath a bleeding star...

This week, #TPTWP remain The Watchers On The Couch and will for some time, so best to strap in and get comfortable because we have a ways to go.

The focus of their Royal Attention this week is still Season 2... In particular:the characters... Specifically:those characters that move and shake the narrative (or lack thereof).

The formula followed is choosing which character best represents-

The Status Quo

The Protagonist

The Antagonist

The Danger to the Status Quo

The Unknown Danger to the Status Quo

Chaotic Good

Chaotic Evil

This is some real good stuff... though it is not clear if it is good because of how great the insights and observations are or because of how bad Season 2 is.

The Princes That Were Promised are John and SeannieWan. Every week they tear apart Westeros and sift through the pieces to bring their Leal and Loyal Subjects the history of the Realm and The Known World from both George R. R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire and HBO's adaptation, Game of Thrones.
