Born amidst salt and smoke- Just off the Long Island Expressway- Beneath a bleeding star...
John and SeannieWan have been on an extended vacation. However, it wasn't a vacation so much as it was the opposite of a vacation and involved a lot of important, top-secret work... which may or may not have been top-secret... or important.
Before continuing the prophesized path of Westerosi discussion, #TPTWP feel royally compelled to comment upon Rian Johnson's attempt at a Star Wars film.
Where does Episode VIII stack up among the Saga? Is Kylo Ren still an intimidating heel? Or is has he turned away from the Dark Side? Or has he become Anakin Skywalker with dark hair and a bigger nose? What is the deal with Snoke? Does you Snoke Theory suck? Who are Rey's parents? Is Rey short for a longer name...? Like... is it a nickname... or... Like... who started calling her Rey? Who was she waiting for if she doesn't know who her parents are? Who taught her how to tie her shoes? Do Star Wars characters tie shoes? Are there shoe-laces in the future? Does Star Wars take place in the future? Obviously it does not- it takes place *"A Long Time Ago..."
Some of these questions are addressed and some ignored. To find out which is which and if any of this means anything... including Episodes I through VII... give a listen to The Wardens of Long Island... The Watchers on The Couch... The Lords of Chit-Chat...
The Princes That Were Promised are John and SeannieWan. Every week they tear apart Westeros and sift through the pieces to bring their Leal and Loyal Subjects the history of the Realm and The Known World from both George R. R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire and HBO's adaptation, Game of Thrones.
